Join New Orleans’ “BugLady” Linda Auld, a long-time insect educator passionate about butterflies, particularly monarchs, for a fun and informative presentation followed by a walk through the Arboretum Pollinator Garden. Linda’s many educational projects seek to increase knowledge for creating habitats to support these insects. Learn about her “Geaux Grow Natives” project that promotes awareness, and the nursery availability, of useful nectar and caterpillar host plants. Butterfly plants, and Linda’s new book, “BugLady’s Butterfly Summer” will be available for purchase. Reservations requested. Members $2; non-members $5.
