PROJECT WILD TEACHER WORKSHOP: “Wild About Natives”
Wednesday, July 24, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Join us for this fantastic workshop and learn the importance of keeping our native plants and animals in our environment healthy and sustainable! For K-12th grade + all subject areas. Led by Mississippi Museum of Natural Science Outreach Educator Sabrina Cummings. We will have a time during the workshop where Pat Drackett, MSU Crosby Arboretum, will discuss how to use native plants in our home landscapes. We will be outside for a small portion of the workshop so please wear comfortable clothes appropriate for outside. Please bring your lunch and a reusable water bottle. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the weather as we will be outside for some activities. The cost is $30.00 non-refundable registration fee, and if desired, $10 cash or check due to Mississippi College on the day of the workshop for 0.5 CEU’s. Pre-registration is required.
