Life Above and Below the Bog: Pitcher Plants & Mudbugs TOUR

Saturday, May 17, choose: 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. (First Tour)

or 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. (Second Tour)

Take a guided tour of the South Pitcher Plant Bog in our Savanna Exhibit with crawfish biologist Patrick Allison Jr. PhD Candidate, The University of Mississippi. Learn about the plants and animals found here (including mudbugs!) and the ecology of these unique habitats. If the weather conditions are suitable, we'll even try to dig a crawfish out of its burrow from amongst the pitcher plants! Includes a demonstration of the iNaturalist and Seek apps to help explore the area. Non-member adults, $7, non-member children $3. Members FREE.

Limit: 15 persons each tour.
