Botany Field Walk of the Arboretum Exhibits: Dr. Janet Wright

Saturday, August 2, 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.

Interested in increasing your botanical knowledge? Join retired ecologist Dr. Janet Wright for a fun and informative walk through the Arboretum’s plant communities. You’ll learn identification tricks for native perennials, grasses, and sedges that will make your field walks richer. We’ll also spend some time on the smallest plants like mosses that are often overlooked.  Includes a small 10X hand lens that you can take home. Best suited to ages 14 and up. Members $4, non-members $8. Limit 25 people.
