Nature Festival – a Thursday in March

A field day event for area schoolchildren, featuring a variety of exhibits that provide educational opportunities for learning about the environment and the natural world.  

Strawberries and Cream - a Sunday in April

Bring the family and join us to celebrate the history of the old strawberry farm at the lovely Pinecote Pavilion. Ice cream, fresh strawberries, and Picayune Frog Lemonade will be served. Free admission.

Bugfest - a Friday and Saturday in October 

Two-day family event that includes learning about insects, children's crafts and activities, and other buggy fun. 

Piney Woods Heritage Festival - a Saturday in November

A family event that features craft and skill demonstrations reflecting the regional culture of the Piney Woods in Mississippi. Along the trails, visitors will discover exhibits such as spinning, basket-making, blacksmithing, woodcarving, beekeeping, Native American culture, and much more.

Quarterly Gallery Exhibits - First or second Saturday of March, June, September, and December

Art exhibits of paintings, drawing, photography and other media that celebrate the natural world. Opening events are typically held from 1 to 3 p.m.
