In this “Smart Landscapes” program, you will learn tips to
consider when creating a landscape plan, whether you are
preparing for a first-time planting installation to follow new
construction, or a long-needed landscape renovation project.
What do you need to know before you begin? Arboretum
director Pat Drackett will cover information that helpful to
gather about your property’s site conditions, how you can
keep costs low by working with natural ecological processes
rather than against them, and some outstanding Mississippi
native plant species to consider. Members $3, non-members
