Gardeners Guide Series: Bromeliad propagation

            Thursday, September 18th, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

Join us on the third Thursday each month as we learn from the experts! Once a month we will feature a hands-on workshop on various gardening related topics. Come to your favorites or come to them all! Meet new gardening friends and learn new skills as we grow together here at the arboretum.

September will feature Master Gardener Paul Andres, who will demonstrate how to propagation bromeliads through root division – dividing mature plants that are developing “pups.”  You will learn about bromeliad varieties and gardening tips for their culture.  Add an exotic flare to your home with these low-care, colorful plants that often have highly patterned leaves. This is a fun, hands-in-the-dirt class, so bring your gloves and wear long sleeves just in case!

Members $3; non-members $7 includes materials fee
